Some dark places need our attention in order to grasp the light.
Will you follow?

You keep my lips sealed
Two birds trapped in agony
Their wings broken
They cannot fly

You keep my eyes shut
Two sunrises burst to life
Only to be taken back

I won't cry
I won't cry

You keep my love at bay
You check, you pat
then you go away

So awful, yet I sway

You keep me prisoner
In a small room
Alone in the dark
You seem to appreciate
My silent prayers

You keep me chained
Yet, I found the key
To be free
When you will be back
The epic battle
will define
Who will be lost
Who will be alive
