Don't let them ruin your mood...(or more)

Hey Everyone,
Another week and here is a new post ! - I am getting better I swear!!! (and here you have to agree with me!)

In the serious stuff now, I was thinking writing this post for several reasons. First of all, the last days here in Greece were not easy ones. Some of you might have heard the numbers or the articles written but the truth is always somewhere in the middle. I won't deny that mistakes were made by our politicians but also from the people. But you cannot blame all the Greeks for the mistakes some did.

At this point things are really bad. People are frustrated, angry, sad or even fed up. When you suffer big payroll cuts and you have to pay new taxes in something new every time, you cannot simply ignore it. In the above add that our unemployement levels are in a new high since the 1950s and that stores are closing. At the same time, people are deeply disappointed by the government and the opposition basically all the parties in the parliament.
Some will wonder, okay this is an author's blog why am I reading this?

The answer to the above question is one. We cannot let them break us and ruin our mood. We cannot forget how to really live. You cannot live in fear. Life is a blessing. We should suppose to embrace and cherish the little things and we don't. Instead we are depressed.

As I wrote on my FB wall, It is important to remember that the sun is always rising every morning. Don't give up on your life because you will miss some good stuff. Yes, I am an optimistic. I cannot wake up in the morning and feel that something bad will happen. If it will happen at least, I will know that I did my best and I tried to built step by step something wonderful.

So, this is my message for the day.

Cherish every day.

Cherish what you have got.

Cherish that we are here in this beautiful place that is called Earth and that we are surrounded not only from bad stuff but good too.

Don't forget to look at the sky. It is so beautiful to be able to look at the stars.

Until Tomorrow,

Have a nice day...

Conversations...with your characters!

Hey Everyone Kalimera,

I do hope you are all okay. It's been a while I know, but here I am writing this entry. I always say to myself that I have to update my blog, but it is not easy to do that. I am so focused writing my story these days that even when I am not writing, I am thinking and rethinking about my story's plot.

For a writer this is an endless process.

I might be walking on the street, eating lunch, or even going to sleep and my mind won't stop forming scenes, lines or having new ideas. It is obvious that people cannot control their own mind. It is working 24-7 even when we are sleeping. So, when it is wandering I just enjoy the ride. I really like when my characters are "showing" me the things they like or even revealing to me their secrets.

It's the most refreshing thing in the world to have feedback from your own characters. If you don't have this relationship with them, then you cannot write. So when they decide to talk to me, I will listen and keep notes. So, now you all know the reason of my absence.

I will try to be more active here as well. Forgive me when I am not.

Until Tomorrow,

Have a nice day ahead!
